GOOD MORNING!!

I don't know about you all, but I am ready to enjoy the SPRING season of God's creation.  Hopefully we will not have any other snow days so we can really get back into the groove!!

Unfortunately, last week I came down with the stomach bug that has been going around our classroom and I was at home sick for two days.  Your students however did such an amazing job with being respectful to the guest teachers that they had.  I will be bringing them a special treat on Monday for their efforts as it can be very hard for them when their routine has been broken.  THEY ROCKED!!!

They also made me some of the sweetest GET WELL cards ever.  They have such tender hearts!!  You have done such a great job as parents raising them up with empathy--that brings such glory to the LORD.

Hopefully this next week we can really dig into our reading and writing projects, start to conquer subtraction and get some BIG TIME science in.

Have a wonderful weekend enjoying your family!

Wow!! This weekend went by very quickly.  It was filled with exciting sporting events.  My family and I went to the TWO HEARTS, ONE CAUSE basketball game against Hamilton which was wonderful to see as so many people came out to support the fight against cancer.

Then on Saturday we had such an amazing game against Holland Public.  My hearts was beating so hard that when the game was finally over, I felt like I had run a marathon.  Sorry to Jon and Jacob as they sat right in front of me and they had to listen to all my cheering in their ears.

This week is Valentine's.  We will be focusing on LOVE!!!  Gods love for us as well as our love for others.

Please have your child bring in their filled out Valentines by Friday morning because we will be passing them out that morning and then opening them in the afternoon.

Also, here is the link to sign up to bring something in for our sundae bar--we still have some slots left.

Here are some pictures of our field trip to DeGraaf-thank you to Jackson's, Sophia's and Stella's mom for helping out.

We had to put all 3 3rd grades together and then split them up into two groups so you might see some other students in these pictures as well.
