Good Morning!!

I have updated the classroom newsletter.  We also have a few things coming up that I am requesting parent volunteers for.  The first one is the upcoming field trip to Outdoor Discovery Center.  I need 2 more chaperones to attend in order for our class to go.  They require a certain student/adult ratio and without that we can not attend.  Below I am attaching the sign up genius link for this trip.

I am also requesting parent volunteers for the last week of school.  We will be making tetrahedron kites and I will need numerous parents to help with this activity.  The dates and tines are on the sign up which I am also attaching a link to for.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of you mommas out there!!  I hope you have had a wonderful day celebrating YOU and all that you do!!!

I did not create a big newsletter this weekend because last week with our half day schedule we did not do a lot of new things.  The children were very excited and just did not have their full focus on school work which was understandable.

This week though we will be back int he groove of learning.  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!

Good Morning All:

Psalm 95:1-2 (The Message)
Come, let's shout praises to God, raise the roof for the Rock who saved us!  Let's march into his presence singing praises, lifting the rafters with our hymns!

On Friday, 3rd and 4th "raised the roof" in our small group chapel where we just sing praise to God.  It was such a blessing.  Ask your child about it.  We were all feeling a bit tired and weary on Friday morning but then we went into the chapel and we just sang our hearts out to our Lord and WOW was it amazing.  It gave me goosebumps hearing the praise and worship.  When we went back to the classroom, many of the kids mentioned how much better they felt and that they just felt God there with us.  I could not agree with them more.

Your children are so insightful and such precious gifts (which I know you already knew that) but I am reminded of that everyday.  They have Jesus in their hearts and he has such a presence in their lives and it shows daily.  It is so exciting to be a part of that--thank you.

I have updated the classroom newsletter.  With next week being tulip time, I have decided to not send home new word work words on Monday.  I know that many of us will be very busy and tired after taking in those events.

On Monday, I will be sending a note home about the logistics of tulip time along with a parade line up so you know where to position yourself for pictures as we walk by.

On Wednesday, please note that the dismissal time will be 11:30.
